An update...

Dear Brethren,

Just a quick note to say that we have returned safely from Harare. Our Father certainly blessed in the short time we were there. Joseph Soko and family send their greetings. The brother with cholera is improving. We visited and prayed with him. Zander is preparing a fuller report with pictures.

As a follow-up on yesterday's newsletter, the update below was received earlier today.

Dear Brethren,

Please pray for Zander Viljoen (Brackenhurst Baptist) and myself as we fly up to Harare tomorrow (returning Wednesday). We will be delivering some of the water purification chemicals as well as gathering information for a larger group to go up. Medicine was sent yesterday to help the individual with cholera.

The e-mail below was received last night. The subject line: 'Please pray.'

Dear Brethren,

I just received an sms from Joseph Soko at the Reformed Baptist Church in Harare. They have experienced their first cholera case in the church and the person is critical. Peter Sammons is working on some help in connection with Doctors Without Borders. A brother at Brackenhurst Baptist Church has connections to 4 tons of water purification sachets which we are planning to take up at the first of the year. Please pray for the brethren in Zimbabwe as their suffering increases daily as well as for these opportunities of specific, practical love to them.
